Inspired by the thought of a sleeping city awakening. I decided to use blends of blues and greens, evoking a sense of depth and movement. Using vertical streaks to give a fluid and atmospheric quality. Then a hoizonal line including a hints of warm yellow, suggesting light or a distant horizon, while darker shapes create an impression of distant objects or forms against the lighter background. To produce a painting that is serene and contemplative, with a harmonious balance of color and texture.
