Lynda Sauls is a largely self-taught, award-winning representational artist based in South Florida. Working in oils, water-based media, and encaustic, she is known for soulful portraits of women and birds, luminous florals, and richly layered compositions.
Her work draws from the beauty of the natural world, the tropical landscape of South Florida, and the stories found in everyday life. Through her distinctive use of light, color, texture, and layering, Sauls creates paintings that invite reflection and reveal the beauty and mystery found both around us and within us.
